Financial stocks need not be scary investments

Millions watched Sunday night at the Miss Universe candidate from the US stumbled while the Latin America beauty from Venezuela won. Likewise, the US stock market appears to be headed for a tumble. Fears about more bank closings like IndyMac and concerns about the two largest mortgage companies Fannie Mae (NYSE:FNM) and Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) are hurting anyone who invested long in the US financial sector.
